“Dear Carl and Team
Thank you for a wonderful time at skydive Swansea.
It was a pleasure to jump at Swansea, the view from 10,000ft over the Gower was spectacular and the tandem jump was brilliant. The whole setup was run very professionally, we never once felt uneasy and all the staff were very helpful and approachable.
Even the pilot smiled - or was it a grin???
The bacon rolls and Chef were first class. How did you find a Jamaican Chef on the Gower?!
I am sure you and your team will make Skydive Swansea a great success and a delightful place for people to experience the fantastic thrill of skydiving in Wales.
Thank you once again in helping us achieve a dream and in helping us raise over £1,200.00 for cancer care. Blue Skies and Good Luck!

“Dear Carl.
I did a Charity Tandem Parachute jump on Sunday 12th August 2007. My chosen charity was the Noah's Ark Appeal, which is very close to our family as my 5 year old daughter Nia, was diagnosed with Leukaemia in June 2006. It was the first time I had ever jumped out of a plane and it was an absolutely fantastic experience.
I thought that I would become really nervous when we were in the plane. It took about 25 minutes to reach 10,000 ft. When the door opened & the 1st jumper went I was excited & ready to go. I Sat at the open door for a couple of seconds with my instructor Af & the next thing I knew we were falling through the air, reaching speeds of 120 mph. That was the most fantastic, breathtaking couple of seconds of my life. It took us about 30 seconds to freefall down to 5,000 ft then Af opened the parachute.
The views over Swansea & Gower on the day were unbelievable, and I was able to talk to Af easily as we did a few turns and slowed down before preparing to land. Landing is what a lot of people seem to worry about, but it was easy and fun! I had the fantastic feeling of wanting to go and do it all over again, the adrenaline was pumping around my body. I hugged Af for being a brilliant instructor who made it an experience that I will never forget. My first Tandem Parachute Jump! And I can say hand on heart it WILL NOT be my only jump! I am already wanting to do another.
So far I have raised over £1,300 for the Noah's Ark Appeal, The Children’s Hospital of Wales. With People still donating money. Most think I'm a nutter for throwing myself out of a perfectly good plane, But if they only knew the feeling you have when you freefall through the air and have the most beautiful view as a bonus to look at. If you ever do it, PLEASE do not close your eyes, it's over so quickly you will miss the best part.

“Hiya,
I just wanted to say a massive thank you for giving me the best experience of my life on 27th Aug.
I had arranged a tandem jump for Cancer Research Wales, along with 3 friends (who later dropped out... cheers girls) so came along to do the jump on my tod. Strange thing was, I was more nervous on Sunday than I was when I actually got there and went up in the plane. I was expecting a really odd atmosphere because of everyone's nerves but everyone was kicking back in the canteen and hanging around on the grass outside. So a huge thank you for making me feel completely safe and keeping me alive, ha ha.
Could you also please say a massive thank you to Will (who is an amazing skydiver and a very lovely bloke) and to Nick the cameraman who have the pleasure of seeing pure terror on my face as we fall out of the plane. I will definitely love to do another jump, and hopefully see you very soon.
Thanks again... it was amazing.

My AFF Course...
The best day I had this summer was when I called you and we arranged my AFF course!! But I had no idea that there were more happy days coming!!! The AFF tandem jump was great but then I wasn't feeling too confident to go for my level 1. Thankfully you had arranged for me to spend sometime in the wind tunnel!!! The wind tunnel was great and it helped me a lot. The wind tunnel prepares you for the free fall and its really good practise I would recommend it to everyone!! :D
The AFF course didn't take long and that's why you have the 'A' for Accelerated. It wasn't stressful cause you helped me so much and because you were explaining everything in detail I felt safe and confident. Every level of the AFF was wonderful and it all came into place on level 7 where I had to combine my knowledge! I did great thanks to you, I had an awesome time thanks to you and I seriously think that I couldn't have a better instructor! I wouldn't change you or this experience for the world!!! See you soon for my consols!!!

I was challenged by my school to do something to help raise money for a new playground and to commemorate my 30th birthday. Why I came up with the idea of a skydive I don’t know. Maybe it was an early mid life crisis. Due to bad weather I had to postpone my jump until October 28th.
That morning the weather was abysmal. However by lunchtime it was clear like a summer’s day, and I was able to make my jump. I have never experienced anything like it before. The serene flight that took us around the Gower was spectacular and the moment my stomach landed in my mouth as I was pushed from the tranquility at 10,000 feet. The speed you fall at is amazing as is trying to hold your thumbs up and smiling at the camera as you hurtle towards the earth.
It is an experience that I would recommend to anyone..... even if I only do it once! Thanks to Carl and everyone else at the centre.
The only downside to the experience was my jump suit. Didn’t realise I was going to be dressed like a clown! Paul Morgan Mynachlog Nedd School, Neath

“The best jump of my life!"
If you want to jump from a perfectly good plane at 10,000feet, accelerate to 120mph and then watch a stunning view for 5 minutes then do it with Skydive Swansea.
The organisation and help was brilliant! Ten out of ten for everything!
A tremendous 21st birthday present!
